Lewisville ISD names new chief financial officer

“I am thrilled to welcome Ms. Meloni to the LISD family as element of the district’s management group,” LISD Superintendent of Educational facilities Lori Rapp explained in a district information release. “Her substantial expertise in educational finance will be a remarkable asset to our district as we manage getting very good stewards of taxpayer bucks.”
Meloni joined the district from Education and learning Services Heart Region 20 in San Antonio. She has been main fiscal officer for client business providers because 2019, according to the release.
Meloni oversaw the company manager’s cooperative with far more than 80 member districts, according to the launch. She also led regional aid in federal and state funding and compliance courses, youngster diet services and general public education details management process expert services.
She has used the earlier 29 decades of her vocation in the San Antonio region. She served as the govt director of finance of Schertz-Cibolo-Common City ISD prior to her Region 20 place.
At SCUC ISD, she led the district finance department’s $153 million once-a-year spending budget and $137 million bond in 2016. While the govt director of finance at SCUC ISD, Meloni was the president elect of the Alamo Area Association of University Company Officers, according to the launch.
“LISD has an extraordinary reputation when it arrives to a record of fiscal health and fitness for community school districts,” Meloni explained in the launch. “I am searching ahead to signing up for the team.”
At SCUC ISD, Meloni served as director of pupil and tutorial companies executive director of pupil and educational providers and government director of unique plans, grants, analysis and progress from 2014-19, according to the release.
Meloni started her education and learning job in the classroom and later turned a campus principal. She started out as a bilingual trainer at John Glenn Elementary in East Central ISD in 1993 and transitioned to vice principal of the exact university 5 decades later on. Meloni was principal of McQueeney Elementary in Seguin ISD from July 2004-11 and then principal of Wiederstein Elementary in SCUC ISD from 2011-14 before she moved to district administration, in accordance to the release.
Meloni been given her Bachelor of Arts from Austin College or university and attained Master of Arts degrees from both Tulane University and Trinity University, in accordance to the launch. She afterwards attained her superintendent certification from Texas State University.
